Telerik, one of our many partners and the company behind Sitefinity (the #1 .NET Content Management System or CMS) has some news.
Sitefinity, 8.1 is loaded with tons of new features. Our favourite is the automated text translation. It is a major technology breakthrough, extraordinary in terms of giving your message a global reach. Other new features, or should we say technological breakthroughs, include the Sitefinity Digital Experience Cloud (DEC), improvements in Sitefinity’s Site Sync and Email Campaigns and enhancements to the Sitefinity Feather framework.
Also, new webinars have been recorded and published for you to watch on your whenever you want to. After watching the videos, you still want to talk to someone and better understand the changes or how they’ll work for your business, shoot us an email.
If you can’t watch the videos just yet, here’s the run down for you.
The Sitefinity v 8.1 will introduce automated text translation into various locales. The Sitefinity translations module will enable you to integrate your website with third-party translation services and to export/import content using the XML Localization Interchange File Format (XLIFF). This is supported by most translation agencies. The translations module will be available in the Sitefinity CMS Enterprise Edition only.
