Hot Tomali had a strong first half in 2017, with new project wins including several mobile apps, mobile responsive websites and marketing campaigns for clients like The Lundin Group, Pooch NetworkACP’s Quality Payment Advisor, FraserwayRV, and Big White Ski Resort. This influx of new business has resulted in a recent hiring spree with the agency bringing on a new project manager, two mobile developers, and two senior web developers.

“We are thrilled to bolster our mobile development, programming and project management capabilities,” says Thomas Stringham, Founder & Creative Director of Hot Tomali. “We’ve been embracing a ‘mobile-first’ approach to our digital philosophy for some time now. If you’re not winning on mobile, you’re simply not winning anymore. As Gary Vaynerchuk put this eloquently at a recent Vancouver conference, ‘the mobile phone has become the remote control of life.’”

Hector works with BackboneJS, NodeJS, Mongo, PHP, Javascript and Cordova to create IOS and Android apps simultaneously using a single codebase, or more commonly known as hybrid-app development. Hector has used this unique skill set to develop a take-out and delivery service hybrid app, Tap to Eat, that allows restaurants to re-skin and launch as their own individual app. Today, over 1,200 American restaurants are using this app and have launched their branded version into the iOS and Android app marketplaces.
